Our Speaker:
Colton Loretz is a business law attorney based in the Reno / Sparks area with the law firm of Reisman Sorokac, a boutique business law firm serving both Northern and Southern Nevada. Colton is an alum of the University of Nevada, Reno and William S. Boyd School of Law. Go Pack! Colton practices primarily in mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, zoning and land use, licensing, and corporate transactions. In the M&A context, Colton enjoys creatively structuring deals for clients and educating clients on the process of buying or selling a business, its assets, and/or commercial real property for a client’s business. Depending on the proposed structure of a deal and the amount of groundwork that the client has already completed, Colton can assist by planning and cleaning up corporate records, drafting a letter of intent to purchase or sell, obtaining and negotiating financing, drafting the purchase and sale agreement or asset purchase agreement (as the case may be), completing due diligence on the business or real estate to be acquired / sold, and assisting in closing the transaction.
